Isn't that a popular (not poplar) saying? We lost one of our venerable trees from the construction and the strangely wet Georgia drought that caused so many rain delays.
Now we gotta get that sucker taken down without mangling the new construction. Sigh.
We'll tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree and haul it out of here.
ddd - this has NOTHING to do with dying trees, but everything to do with your crummy night. ((((((ddd)))))) Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am, both about the child and your friend. There are days and then ... THERE ARE DAYS. Gumballs, blogaritas and brownies to you, Doll. Give 'em all hell today.

Thanks, Diva- the update to the situation with my friend is that she was suspended for one night. Thank goodness cooler heads prevailed- I am relieved that common sense still exists. Good news for another friend of mine- see above post for details.
